Toughened
We have expanded our capacity to include three toughening systems. Our newest toughning system, Glaston FC series with iLooK scanner, not only ensures perfect toughening but also scans and analyses the surface to ensure flatness and avoid non-visible distortions.
The toughening process is very simple. The glass is heated in the machine to a temperature of about 750 degrees and then cooled with pressurized air. This results in the glass achieving a break strength that is seven times greater than before toughening.

1. Roller Heat Control
Automatic heat regulation ensures no heat disturbances on the rollers and leads to optimal toughening across the entire sheet of glass.
2. Active Edge Control
A special technology activates intelligent colling of the glass. The edges remain flat, and the glass is optimally prepared for processes such as laminated.
3. Perfect Toughening
The toughening furnace feature a heating accuracy, that is tailored to the type and thickness of the glass, and resulting in high-quality toughened glass.
4. iLook scanner
Analyse the glass surface with a 3D scanner to ensure flatness and detect any non-visible distortions.
Heat Soak test
With the heat soak test, we can eliminate glass with at risk of spontaneous breakage, thereby further ensuring the quality of the glass.
Digital Ceramic Print
Digital ceramic printing is toughened into the glass, ensuring optimal durability.
