Glass test center
We have all the technological equipment available and take pride in producing glass to the highest standards every time. That is why we also have our own testing centre, where we can test your glass and installation solution. This provides you with added assurance and allows us to continually optimise our products and solutions.
Heat Soak Test
The most effective method to reduce the risk of spontaneous breakage in toughened glass is the Heat Soak test. As it can take up to two to three years for breakage to occur, it is advisable to have the glass tested as soon as possible. Unintentional breakage is often triggered by significant temperature fluctuations, so testing is particularly beneficial for glass intended for outdoor use, where alternating sun and shade affect the glass temperature throughout the day and year. The oven can handle glass sizes of up to 5000 x 2700 mm and has a load capacity of 8,000 kilograms.
Benefits of the Heat Soak Test:
- Significantly reduces the risk of spontaneous glass breakage
- Avoids costly and inconvenient replacements
- Ensures high-quality glass every time
- Provides quality reports and documentation
iLooK Deflection Test
With our Glaston iLooK scanner, we have set a new benchmark for quality, capabilities, and service. As the first in Denmark, we can now able to not only toughening glass up to 2800 x 7000 mm but also analyse the glass surface with a 3D scanner to ensure flatness with no visible distortions. This guarantees you aesthetically superior glass, ideal for façade and protective applications.
The Glaston iLooK scanner is an enhancement of our latest, state-of-the-art Glaston FC toughening furnace.
Benefits of iLooK:
- Ensures the glass surface is flat with no visible distortions
- Provides automatic quality control – we deliver on our promises
- Guarantee high-quality glass every time
- Includes quality reports and documentation
Sparklike Gas Filling Test
Today, thermal units come with a range of features, but they all share a common characteristic, they consists of at least two panes of glass with a spacer profile and an air gap that can be filled with gas. Following our investmen in new gas testing facilities, Glaseksperten can measure the gas content in all thermal units. This means that glass and window manufacturers can now measure the gas content in all thermal units. This allows glass and window manufactures to provide units with documented gas filling, ensuring consistent quality abnd high insulation performance.
The gas test is performed automatically during production, with Sparklike scanning each unit to measure whether the gas percentage meets the minimum requirements, ensuring that the units conform to a set standard.
Benefits of gas testing
- Automatic quality assurance of double and triple glazed units
- Documented gas-filling
- High-quality double- and triple-glazed units every time
- Increased gas-filling capacity
Test Lab
Documented testing of foil strength, bending, and installation solutions based on international standards. We have the equipment to perform tests and provide video documentation.
Benefits of Using Test Lab:
- Unsure if your installation solution is durable enough? Test it and find out.
- Not certain which foil is suitable for your application? Test it and find out.
- Unclear about the required thickness of your glass? Test it and find out.
- Tests aretailored exactly to your needs and preferences.
