Økern Portal
World-class architecture
We have produced a total of 3,000 square metres of glazed units for Norway's largest development project in 2020, Økern Portal in Oslo. The Danish glass manufacturer has created a total of 12 different solutions using low-energy glass and solar control for the building's façade. Additionally, they are set to produce nearly 1,000 square metres for the central part of the project, the Pavilion, which is soon to be constructed.
In Norway's capital city, Oslo, one of the largest development projects in the country's history is underway. The project, Økern Portal, is an 80,000-square-metre commercial building with a unique façade design consisting of 25 percent glass and 75 percent aluminium. For the lower part of the façade, 3,000 square metres of glazed units with solar control will be required, meeting the strictest energy standards, and the Danish company Glaseksperten will be responsible for manufacturing this order.
