Glass for exclusive hotel in Reykjavik

It is glass from Glaseksperten that is installed in Iceland's new and most exclusive hotel in Reykjavik. The hotel is part of the Edition Hotels brand, which consists of a collection of highly exclusive hotels in the USA, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

The hotel includes 253 rooms, several restaurants, and bars, and is located at Reykjavik's old harbour, offering stunning views of the mountains.

Glaseksperten has supplied 3,500 m² of triple-glazed units, including stepped units and structural glazing solutions for the hotel. The latter provides an exclusive effect, as there is no frame around the glass, making the solution a perfect match for the hotel, which is at the high end of the market. Glaseksperten was chosen as the supplier partly because the glass manufacturer could deliver all types of glass for the hotel construction.

Due to Glaseksperten's ability to supply the right types of glass for the hotel, the company received an additional order for glass for luxury apartments next to the hotel. So far, Glaseksperten has supplied approximately 300 m² of glass for the apartments, with an additional, as-yet unknown quantity to be delivered over the coming months.
