Storebotn 9 - new construction with 75 % recycled aluminium facade

On the slope leading up to Storebotn, Norway, a striking newly built building with an eye-catching glass facade rises. Storebotn 9 has been constructed by JMN Plan & Arkitektur.

The building demonstrates its focus on sustainability. Everything from the facade, doors, and windows is made using Wicona Hydro CIRCAL – premium aluminium containing at least 75% recycled aluminium from used building materials.

For this project, we have produced triple-glazed units with Suncool™ solar control, Pyrostop® fire-resistant glass, and enamelled glass – all featuring our energy-efficient spacer profile, Super Spacer® T-Spacer™ Premium Plus.
