Facade glass for Luksusbaby's new headquarters

The Aalborg-based webshop and store Luksusbaby has expanded and replaced their 2,300 m² warehouse with a new 16,000 m² commercial site and headquarters.

In connection with this, Glaseksperten has produced 141 triple-glazed units with a total area of 156 m², which will cover the entire façade. Workplace environment has been a key focus of the project, and many of the units are both solar-controlled and acoustic, with some also made from enamelled glass, ensuring privacy by preventing a view from the outside.

We have aimed to reduce the noise from the nearby E45 highway with acoustic energy-efficient glass. Additionally, we sought to create a comfortable indoor climate with solar control triple-glazed units that have a low external reflection of ten percent and high thermal insulation. Therefore, the units are also constructed with solar control glass externally and acoustic glass internally.

Furthermore, there was a need to prevent visibility, so 68 toughened enamelled triple-glazed units were produced to provide both an aesthetically pleasing and practical solution.

Luksusbaby’s new headquarters will feature a total of four halls, each approximately 2,000 m², with 450 m² dedicated to administration and other functions.
