Integrated glass roof for the Dance Chapel, Bispebjerg

The light art installation, designed by artist Thilo Frank, was inaugurated in August 2019, and as of May 2020, the renovation of the glass roofs along the wall has been completed. Now, the art installation and integrated glass roof are beautifully finished.

The light artwork was made possible with support from the Ny Carlsberg Foundation, while the glass roof was funded by a grant from KFU for the beautification of the capital.

The glass roof is constructed with 3 x 10 mm toughened laminated glass, with Timeless® glass as the top layer. Timeless® glass is resistant to corrosion and discoloration. Each glass panel is CNC-modeled, and there are 60 panels in total, with no two being identical.

The courtyard renovation is expected to be completed by August 2021.
