Campus Køge
Zealand has constructed a new campus in Køge, centrally located within Campus Køge. This impressive new study environment is now open to Zealand's students and administrative staff. Both current and future students can look forward to a modern and architecturally innovative study space, featuring bright rooms designed to meet the needs of contemporary education.
The building spans three floors, with laboratories, storage areas, and a canteen on the ground floor; teaching facilities and academic administration on the first floor; and the rector’s office on the second floor. Covering approximately 4,500 m² over multiple levels, the campus enjoys a central location close to student housing, the new Køge Nord Station, the S-train, motorway access, and bus routes.
For this project, we have produced:
- 96 internal glass partitions, including 16.76 mm and 10.8 mm laminated acoustic glass.
- 76 glass roof panels, almost 49 mm thick, triple-glazed with Suncool 70/35 coating, composed of 6 mm float glass, 8.76 mm laminated energy glass, and 14 mm SuperSpacer. Many of these panels exceed 3 meters in height and come in various shapes.
The construction was completed in early August 2020.
