400 m² of façade glass for Biltema in Oppdal, Norway.

Biltema has recently opened a large store in Oppdal, Norway, for which we produced over 100 façade glass panels, with sizes up to 3000 x 1600 mm. The glazed units are made of standard float glass and laminated solar control glass of the type Suncool™ 50/25, which allows only 25% of solar heat to enter. There was also a requirement for security glazing, so for this project, 16 mm P6B security glass was used, which, in testing, can withstand 30–50 axe strikes.
