Unique Campus Development

Glaseksperten has just supplied 4,000 glazed units for the new BaseCamp Skovbrynet, which is currently under construction in Lyngby. These units will allow light and nature to flow into the 786 residences, which will house both students and seniors.

The new residential project, BaseCamp Skovbrynet, will cover a 34,500-square-metre site in the heart of picturesque Sorgenfri in the Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. The finished development will consist of 639 student residences, 48 senior residences, 69 guest rooms, and 30 municipal rental units, as well as a circular community centre of 1,300 square metres in the middle of the area.

Glaseksperten has supplied a total of 4,000 glazed units, which will cover the façade of BaseCamp Skovbrynet. According to Jesper Hønning, Sales Manager at Glaseksperten, the organic architecture required a different approach to the glass delivery:
