With our MicroShade® facade glass, you can create buildings with 'clean' facades that offer views, natural daylight, and a pleasant indoor temperature. The solution is integrated into either a Individual Glazed Unit.
With our MicroShade® facade glass, it is possible to create facades that offer views, natural daylight and a comfortable indoor temperature. All this is achieved with a completely passive solution that requires no maintenance and last as long as the double and triple glazed units themselves.

MicroShade® facade glass is ideal for commercial and residential buildings with large glass surfaces, where indoor climate is a top priority, as well as reducing costs, such as energy consumption for ventilation and cooling.
MicroShade® can be integrated into both double and triple glazing units. The solution can also be combined with other energy-efficient glass.

What happens when sunlight hits MicroShade®?
When sunlight hits Individual Glazed Units, up to 92% of solar radiation is blocked without affecting the view. At the same time, natural daylight still filters through.
- In summer, when the sun is high in the sky, MicroShade® provides shading of up to 100 % and eliminating the energy from the sunlight.
- Conversely, MicroShade® allows around 35 % of solar transmission in winter, reducing the need for heating the colder months.
