At Glaseksperten, we manufacture all our double and triple glazed units as energy-efficient units. The benefits include improved indoor climate, greater comfort, and savings on heating costs. We manufacture all our units to measure for your specific project - in fact, up to 3210 x 6000 mm.

All our energy-efficient glass is certified according to DS/EN-1279.

The energy glass is installed with the energy coating facing the cavity. The energy coating allows short-wave solar energy to enter the building and retaining long-wave energy from people, animals, and radiators. In this way, an energy-efficient unit facing the sun will allow more energy to the room than it lets out. At the same time, the walls around the window will warm up, helping to retain heat.

Building regulations 2018

From January 1, 2021, all windows must meet an energy rating of A, which means triple-glazing.

Doors with glass must acheive a U-value of 1.0 W/m²K.

For holiday homes or other vacation properties, double-glazing may still be used.
