Pilkington Pyrostop® 30-10 is used for fire-rated partition walls, facades, and windows. It can be used in wood and steel frames. The fire-protective layer in the glass should not be exposed to UV radiation. Therefore, glass used for facades is equipped with a thin foil that blocks UV radiation from the outside.
Pilkington fire glass is available in two variants, both of which come in thicknesses ranging from 9 to 27 mm and withstand temperatures from -40°C to +50°C.
Pilkington Pyrodur® meets the requirements for reduced radiation (klasse EW).
Pilkington Pyrostop® meets the insulation requirements (class EI). Radiation reduction (class EW) ensures safe escape routes with radiation levels as low as 3-6 kW/m2 at a distance of 1 metre.
